• Microsectioning & Chemical Decapsulation

ESA / IPC Operator
Location: Havant
Hours: Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:15pm
Friday: 8:00am – 12:15pm
Salary: Dependent on experience and certification
About the Role
Spur Electron is looking for an ESA / IPC Operator to join our growing flight assembly team. This role involves building high-reliability flight hardware within a cleanroom environment, working to IPC and ESA standards to support space and aerospace programmes.
Skills & Experience
✔ Experience in an assembly, manufacturing or production environment
✔ Cleanroom experience is advantageous
✔ Strong soldering and wiring knowledge
✔ ESA or IPC certification beneficial (training available)
✔ Practical hands-on technical ability
✔ IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Key Responsibilities
• Build flight hardware to IPC and ESA standards
• Carry out PCA, module build and harness assembly
• Work from detailed build instructions and engineering drawings
• Assemble in-house cable assemblies and test equipment
• Maintain quality and cleanliness standards within the cleanroom environment
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Carry out visual inspections and basic testing of assemblies
• Maintain accurate build records and production documentation
• Support continuous improvement and efficiency within the assembly process
