Quality Assurance

Malcolm Snowdon (Spur MD) is responsible for overseeing Spur QMS. S.E.H. Services provide external reviews of Spur procedures & processes and ensure conformance to latest ISO requirements at all times.

QA Department is also responsible for Customer specific Quality Plans and Qualification Plans for Flight and Non-Flight Projects.

Quality Policy’ to provide ‘assemblies’ and/or procured components / specifications that are fit for their intended purposes, compliant with any stated requirements, which along with any laboratory analysis services are ALL supplied within agreed time-frames, and at pre-agreed prices,

To ensure that our Customers needs and expectations are totally satisfied by the above, To manage our business effectively and efficiently, in compliance with ISO 9001 and any other legislative requirements that apply to us, as that assists in ensuring our Customers do receive the professional services necessary, ensures we operate safely and that the business needs are also fulfilled, and finally to target continuous improvement in both our own internal operations and hence Customer ‘service’.

Quality Control

Spur Electron Quality Control department contains experienced inspectors which combined with state of the art AOI & X-Ray inspection equipment ensures Spur Electron Ltd always provide a 100% fully compliant product. QC oversee internal manufacturing processes from receipt of components through to final despatch providing full traceability with regards to personnel, equipment, materials and processes.

In addition to the manufacturing support, QC provide vital assistance for Product & component evaluation, Product Qualification and line approval for both internal and external customers.
